SEC Charges Take-Two For Stock Options Backdating Scheme

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged video and computer game publisher and distributor Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. for falsifying its reported income over a seven-year period. CBOE Volume Totals 108.9 Million Contracts In March: Marks Best March Ever For CBOE - ADV Up 6% From Year Ago And 17% From February 2009

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that trading volume of 108.9 million contracts marked the Exchange's best March ever, up 17 percent over March 2008 volume of 93.0 million contracts and 35 percent over February 2009 volume of 80.7 million contracts. An average of nearly five million contracts per day was traded during the month, six percent greater than the 4.6-million-contract average daily volume (ADV) in March 2008 and a 17-percent increase over February 2009

Disruption To Data Dissemination Of FTSE-Bursa Malaysia Indices

Bursa Malaysia experienced disruption to the data dissemination of FTSE-Bursa Malaysia (FBM) indices from 3:26pm due to a data distribution issue at FTSE’s system in UK. While the Exchange was notified by FTSE that the issue was resolved in 10 minutes, Bursa Malaysia continued to experience disruption to the dissemination of the FBM index values until close of trading at 5pm.

KCBT March Volume Posts Gains Over Last March - KCBT March Volume 10.6 Percent Higher Than March 2008

Kansas City Board of Trade trading volume for the month of March totaled 287,958 contracts, an increase of 10.6 percent when compared to March 2008. The increase was fueled by the hard red winter wheat futures contract, which increased 14.3 percent compared to March 2008.

101 Billion Euro Turnover At Deutsche Börse In March - 15.7 Million Trades Executed On Xetra - Total Volume Of €119.2 Billion Traded On All Stock Exchanges In Germany

In March, €100.9 billion were turned over on Xetra® and on the floor at Börse Frankfurt – a decrease of some 48 percent year-on-year (March 2008: €194.5 billion). Of the €100.9 billion turnover €93.8 billion were traded on Xetra, a decrease by some 49 percent year-on-year (March 2008: €185.6 billion) and €7.2 billion on the floor (March 2008: €8.9 billion).
