The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that equity option volume in April rose 31.98% when 25,824,063 contracts compared to the same year-ago period when 19,567,378 contracts traded. Equity option volume in April decreased 9.40% compared the previous month when 28,503,350 contracts traded.
