    The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced finalized settlements with Bank of America, RBC Capital Markets, and Deutsche Bank to resolve SEC charges that the firms misled investors regarding the liquidity risks associated with auction rate securities (ARS) that they underwrote, marketed, or sold.

  • MGEX Breaks Daily Electronic Trading Volume Record

    Electronic trading of Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW) futures and options today reached 11,146 contracts at MGEX (Minneapolis Grain Exchange or Exchange), marking the highest electronic trading volume in Exchange history. The new number exceeds the former record of 10,350 futures and options contracts traded electronically by 796 contracts.

  • NSX Releases May 2009 ETF/ETN Data Report

    National Stock Exchange, Inc. (NSX®) announced that assets in U.S. listed Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) and Exchange-Traded Notes (ETN) totaled approximately $594.3 billion at May 2009 month-end, an increase of 10% over April 2009 month-end when assets totaled approximately $540.2 billion. At the end of May 2009, the number of listed products totaled 829, compared to 767 listed products one year ago.
