  • Singapore Fixed Income Indices (SFI) Weekly

    Below are key highlights for the week ending 16 May 2014 (please click on the attachment for further detail):

    • The SFI gained 0.43% to 117.86.  The SFI is 0.75% shy of its all-time high.
    • YTD, the STI currently outperforms the SFI by 0.55%.
    • The SFI has made six consecutive weekly gains, having advanced in 16 out of the last 20 weeks.
    • The SFI Corporate Bond Index reached a new all-time high on Thursday, 15 May (121.84). 
    • YTD, additions into the SFI Corporate Bond Index include two issuances by Singapore Airlines (issue sizes of S$300M and S$200M) and an issuance by National University of Singapore (issue size of S$250M).

  • Statement By The European Commission, ECB And IMF On The Fourth Review Mission To Cyprus

    Staff teams from the European Commission (EC), European Central Bank (ECB), and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) visited Nicosia during May 6-17, 2014 for the fourth review of Cyprus's economic program, which is supported by financial assistance from the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) and the IMF. Cyprus’s program seeks to ensure the recovery of economic activity to preserve the welfare of the population by restoring financial sector stability, strengthening public finance sustainability, and adopting structural reforms to support long-run growth.
