Deutsche Börse Offers New Information Product For Full Transparency Of Leading Eurex Benchmark Futures
Deutsche Börse Market Data + Services has launched Eurex Order by Order, a new information product that makes available the entire Eurex order book for benchmark futures for the first time. Eurex Exchange, owned by Deutsche Börse, is a leading international derivatives marketplace that offers more than 1,900 products across a growing range of asset classes. Overall trading volume in 2013 totaled 1.6 billion contracts.

HKEx: Arrangements For Adjustment Of Henderson Land Futures And Options For Bonus Issue
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has announced the arrangements for the adjustment to the contract terms of all open Henderson Land Development Company Limited (Henderson Land) futures and option contracts in existence after the market close on 10 June 2014, the business day immediately before the ex-bonus day, which is 11 June 2014, to account for Henderson Land’s bonus issue of one new share for every 10 shares held.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Tuesday, 1 April 2014, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

1. What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is an emerging alternative form of financing that connects directly those who can give, lend or invest money with those who need financing for a specific project. It usually refers to open calls through the internet to the wider public to finance specific projects. Promoters of an initiative can collect funds directly. However, a web-based intermediary, a so-called ‘crowdfunding platform’, will often assist in publishing campaigns and collecting funds. In exchange, these platforms often charge a fee. While calls for funds to the public are not new, the phenomenon of using the internet to directly connect with funders emerged recently and brought significant visibility to this practice.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced the arrangements for the adjustment to the contract terms of all open The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Hong Kong & China Gas) futures and option contracts in existence after the market close on 5 June 2014, the business day immediately before the ex-bonus day, which is 6 June 2014, to account for Hong Kong & China Gas’s issue of 1 bonus share for every 10 existing shares held.

UK's Financial Conduct Authority Publishes Two Warning Notice Statements
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has today issued two Warning Notice Statements. This is the sixth and seventh time the FCA have issued a Warning Notice Statement since it was given the power to do so by the Financial Services Act 2012. The Government’s principal rationale for giving the FCA this power was to promote early transparency of enforcement proceedings.

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia Securities) has publicly reprimanded Eonmetall Group Berhad (“EMETALL” or “the Company”) for breaching paragraph 9.16(1)(a) of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Main Market Listing Requirements (Main LR) in respect of the Company’s announcement dated 29 February 2012 on the unaudited fourth quarterly report for financial year ended (FYE) 31 December 2011 (QR4/2011) which failed to take into account the adjustments in the Company’s announcement dated 30 April 2012.

Senior Management Changes At Monetary Authority Of Singapore
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced the following changes to its senior management team:
- Mrs Foo-Yap Siew Hong, currently Assistant Managing Director (Special Projects) in the Managing Director’s Office, will retire from MAS on 31 March 2014.
- Mr Lee Chuan Teck, currently Assistant Managing Director (Capital Markets) will be seconded to the Ministry of Transport as Deputy Secretary (Land and Corporate).
- Mr Lee Chuan Teck will be succeeded by Mr Lee Boon Ngiap, who will relinquish his current position as Assistant Managing Director (Banking & Insurance).
- Mr Chua Kim Leng, currently Executive Director, Banking Department I, will be appointed as Assistant Managing Director (Banking & Insurance).
