The U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) today signed a covered agreement (the Agreement) on prudential insurance and reinsurance measures with the European Union (EU). Treasury and USTR also jointly issued a policy statement clarifying how the United States views implementation of certain provisions of the Agreement.

EEX: Termination Of trading In Hog-, Piglet-, And Fertilizer Futures

After today’s decision of the Exchange Council of EEX to delete the specifications of Piglet and Hog Futures from the EEX Contract Specifications, trading in these products as well as trading in Futures on Fertilizers will be terminated after today’s (22nd September 2017) close of trading at EEX. The entry of orders or the registration of transactions in these products is prohibited effective immediately.
