Moscow Exchange Supervisory Board Recommends Interim Dividend

At its meeting on 9 August 2017, the Supervisory Board of Moscow Exchange recommended an interim dividend for H1 2017 of RUB 2.49 per share. The record date is 29 September 2017. The total interim dividend payout will amount to RUB 5.67 bln, or 55% of the company"s H1 2017 net profit under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

On 8 August 2017, the  Upper Tribunal upheld the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) decision to ban Charles Palmer, former CEO of Financial Limited and Investments Limited (“the Firms”), from performing FCA significant influence functions.  The Tribunal also upheld the FCA’s decision to impose a financial penalty of £86,691 on Mr Palmer.

SIX Swiss Exchange and Nasdaq, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today have announced that Nasdaq, in collaboration with its technology partner Chain, will provide distributed ledger technology (DLT) for a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for SIX’s OTC structured products business. The solution will integrate with several systems currently managed by SIX and utilize the DLT capabilities at the core of the Nasdaq Financial Framework, Nasdaq’s next-generation enterprise architecture stack. With the MVP, SIX gains first-hand experience regarding the implementation of a DLT solution and investigating how to leverage blockchain technology for SIX and its members in the post-trade environment.
