The Spanish Exchange Traded €587.47 Bn In 2018

The Spanish Exchange traded 587.47 billion euros in Equities in 2018, having reported 38.7 billion euros in December – down 5.4% from November – and down 18.7% from the same month the previous year. The number of trades in December reached 3.1 million, 15.8% lower than in the previous month and 5.7% lower than in December 2017.

Deutsche Börse: Cash Market Achieves Highest Trading Volume Since 2008 - €1.72 Trillion In 2018 - 17 Per Cent Year-On-Year Increase - List Of Highest Turnover Shares By Index

In 2018, Cash Market of Deutsche Börse achieved an order book turnover of €1.72 trillion - the highest trading volume since 2008 and an increase of 17 per cent compared to the previous year (€1.47 trillion). Of this amount, €1.57 trillion were attributable to Xetra, €40.11 billion to the Börse Frankfurt venue and €105.81 billion to Tradegate Exchange.

HKEX Enhances Designated Specialist Programme For Exchange Traded Products

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) today (Wednesday) enhanced the Designated Specialist (DS) programme for its Exchange Traded Products (ETPs), which include Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and Leveraged and Inverse (L&I) Products, to permit global liquidity providers that are not its Securities Market Makers (SMMs) to participate in ETP market making activities.
