Borsa Istanbul: BIST Stock Indices Ground Rules Has Been Updated

According to BIST Stock Indices Ground Rules, the free float market value as of the end of the review period and the daily average traded values for the review period are used to determine the constituents of BIST 100, BIST 50, BIST 30 and BIST Dividend 25 indices at their periodic reviews.

Eurex Clearing Expands Distribution To Clients Of U.S. Clearing Members

Eurex Clearing, one of the world’s leading central counterparties, will offer clearing services for swap transactions to clients of futures commission merchants (FCMs) domiciled in the U.S., thus expanding its offering. This follows notice by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) that Eurex Clearing has fulfilled all requirements to offer these in addition to the clearing services for futures already provided.

Moscow Exchange Index Rebranding Nears Completion

On 21 January 2019, the rebranding of Moscow Exchange’s suite of indices will be completed. New names and codes will be rolled out for the whole MOEX index offering pursuant to updates introduced to the methodologies of the equity indices and bonds indices. The changes will be implemented on both the Exchange’s website and through external data providers.

ESMA Consults On Guidelines On Settlement Fails Reporting And Standardised Procedures And Messaging Protocols Under CSDR

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has today published two consultation papers seeking stakeholders’ views on settlement fails reporting and standardised procedures and messaging protocols under Articles 6(2) and 7(1) of the Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR). These consultation papers (CPs) represent a first step in the development of the guidelines in these areas and remain open for feedback until 20 February 2019.
