CME Group Increases Regular Quarterly Dividend By Seven Percent

CME Group Inc., the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today declared a first-quarter dividend of $0.75 per share, a seven percent increase from the prior rate of $0.70 per share. The dividend is payable March 25, 2019, to shareholders of record as of March 8, 2019.

The supervisory briefing has been designed to assist national competent authorities (NCAs) in their supervision of the establishment by EU firms of branches in non-EU countries.

UK seeks to improve EU withdrawal terms following backlash from UK Parliament
The UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, is seeking to reopen negotiations with the EU in order to renegotiate the agreed terms of the UK’s exit arrangements from the EU (the “Withdrawal Agreement”), following a rejection of the agreement by 230 votes on 15 January 2019; the largest defeat for a sitting government in history. The Withdrawal Agreement, which details the agreed process of how the UK can leave the EU, was rejected on various grounds by MPs, including the issue of the “Northern Irish backstop”; the fallback plan to avoid any return to physical border checks along the Irish border.
