Vienna Stock Exchange: ATX & ATX Prime: New Free Float Factors For Immofinanz, S Immo & Wolford

Following the quarterly review of the calculation parameters of the Austrian indices, above all the leading Austrian index ATX, the Vienna Stock Exchange announces the new factors. The free float factor of Immofinanz AG decreases from 0.9 to 0.8 following the entry of S Immo AG. For S Immo AG the free float factor rises from 0.6 to 0.7 following Sparkassen Versicherung AG Vienna Insurance Group’s sale of a larger block of S Immo shares. At the fashion group Wolford AG, the free float factor decreases from 0.4 to 0.3 after Fosun’s purchase of a major stake in the company. The free float factor expresses how many shares of a company are spread among the public and influences how strongly a share is weighted in the index. The changes will take effect on 18 June 2018. The next scheduled review of the composition of the ATX will take place on 4 September 2018.

EEX Cooperates With SEEPEX To Launch Serbian Power Derivatives Market

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) and SEEPEX, the South East European Power Exchange, have entered into a cooperation for the listing of cash-settled power futures. Pending the approval of the relevant authorities, EEX will list Base Months, Quarters and Year Futures for the Serbian market area. The products will be settled against the Serbian day-ahead spot price as calculated by SEEPEX. Both exchanges envisage the launch of the new contracts in early 2019.

- The average daily turnover for the first five months of 2018 was $130.3 billion, an increase of 73 per cent when compared with $75.3 billion for the same period last year.
- The average daily turnover of derivative warrants for the first five months of 2018 was $19.9 billion, an increase of 90 per cent when compared with $10.5 billion for the same period last year.
- The average daily turnover of CBBCs for the first five months of 2018 was $8.2 billion, an increase of 95 per cent when compared with $4.2 billion for the same period last year.
- Total funds raised for the first five months of 2018 was $161.7 billion, an increase of 28 per cent when compared with $126.6 billion for the same period last year.
- There were 93* newly listed companies for the first five months of 2018, an increase of 55 per cent when compared with 60* for the same period last year.
