The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) is pleased to confirm that Eid Al Fiter will commence on Tuesday the 12th of June 2018 (28 of Ramadan 1439). Accordingly, trading will be as follows:
- Trading will discontinue at the end of trading day 12/6/2018 (28 of Ramadan 1439).
- Trading will resume after the holiday on 20/6/2018 (6 of Shawaal 1439).

Lutz Raettig Named Honorary Chairman Of The Exchange Council Of The Frankfurt Stock Exchange - Honour For Outstanding Services To The Stock Exchange And The Financial Centre

Today's meeting of the Exchange Council of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange has named Lutz Raettig its honorary chairman. Raettig is being recognised for his outstanding accomplishments to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the financial centre of Frankfurt. He has been a member of the Exchange Council since 2001, and was chairman of the committee from 2002 to 2017. This is the first time the title has been conferred.

ACER Organises A Workshop To Decide On The Gas Booking Platform For The German-Polish Border

On 19 June the Agency will hold a workshop at its premises to gather input from stakeholders before it issues a Decision to select a booking platform for the German-Polish border. The issue was referred to ACER from the German and Polish National Regulatory Authorities for Energy (NRAs).

Thomson Reuters Announces New US$1 Billion Share Repurchase Program

Thomson Reuters (TSX / NYSE: TRI) today announced that it plans to buy back up to an additional US$1 billion of its shares under a new repurchase program. The new buyback program is in addition to the US$500 million repurchase program that Thomson Reuters announced in May 2018. Thomson Reuters has repurchased approximately US$231 million of shares since resuming buybacks last month.

IFC And Monetary Authority Of Singapore Partner To Accelerate Growth Of Green Bond Asset Class In Asia

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), agreeing to work together to accelerate the growth of green bond markets in Asia. The MOU marks the start of a closer collaboration between MAS and IFC to jointly advance the green finance agenda.
