  • Shenzhen Stock Exchange Steadily Promotes The Securitization Of Intellectual Property Rights To Facilitate National Innovation-Driven Development Strategy

    On 11 September, 2019, “Xingye Yuanrong-Guangzhou Development Zone Patent License ABS” (shortly referred to as “Guangzhou Patent License ABS”) was successfully launched. It’s another intellectual property rights (IPR) securitization product promoted by SZSE after the issuance of “First Capital - Culture & Technology Leasing ABS (First Tranche)”. The smooth issuance of the product is an innovative practice of SZSE to earnestly implement the plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council for conducting IPR securitization, and a powerful measure of the capital market to support national comprehensive reform experiment in respect of IPR application and protection. It will help scientific and technological enterprises further explore effective path to intensify IPR application and broaden the financing channels for these enterprises with asset-light operation.

    China Minsheng Bank (CMBC) successfully puts on sale the bank structural deposits related to the feedstuff futures price index of Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) on August 30, making it the commercial bank in the market that first issues the structural product related to DCE multi indexes after iron ore futures price index and soybean meal futures price index.

    The China Corn Industry Conference 2019 will be held in Dalian on September 11.   • Dalian Commodity Exchange Deals With 42 Abnormal Transactions In August

    In August 2019, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) cracks down on 42 cases of abnormal transactions, including 13 cases of self-transactions exceeding position limits and 29 cases of frequently submitting and canceling orders. DCE has reminded these clients through members by telephone and restricted two of these clients from opening new positions for one month.

    At the end of the settlement date of August 30, 2019, short interest in 2,370 Nasdaq Global MarketSM securities totaled 8,308,462,471 shares compared with 8,255,813,521 shares in 2,378 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of August 15, 2019. The end-of-July short interest represents 4.66 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.08 days for the prior reporting period.
