Macquarie Infrastructure Partners Completes Acquisition Of Wheelabrator Technologies Inc. From Energy Capital Partners

Macquarie Infrastructure Partners ("MIP") and Wheelabrator Technologies Inc. ("Wheelabrator") announced today that MIP, acting through one of its managed funds, has completed the purchase of Wheelabrator from funds managed by Energy Capital Partners ("ECP"). MIP operates within the Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets ("MIRA") division of Macquarie Group.

MIAX Options - SPIKES Settlement Order Type Update

In support of the MIAX Options Exchange listing options on SPIKES™ (Ticker: SPIKE), a new time in force Settlement Auction Only (SAO) will be introduced.  The new SAO time in force will be used for Index Settlement Auctions on settlement day only.  Initially, the SAO time in force will be supported through the FIX Order Interface (FOI).  The MIAX Express Order Interface (MEI) will introduce SAO eQuotes in the future pending SEC approval.  Additional details can be found in the February 5 , 2019 Alert.

On 17th October 2018, the European Money Markets Institute (EMMI) published the Second Consultation Paper on a Hybrid Methodology for EURIBOR. The Consultation Paper presented EMMI’s findings after the conclusion of the Hybrid EURIBOR Testing Phase (HETP), the exercise performed by EMMI between May and July 2018 to test its proposed hybrid methodology for EURIBOR. This Consultation was part of EMMI’s commitment to deliver a reformed and robust methodology for EURIBOR, which aims to meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations in a timely manner.
