Nigerian Stock Exchange Set To Accelerate Islamic Finance In Nigeria - Partners REDmoney To Host IFN Nigeria Forum

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), in partnership with REDmoney Group, is set to hold the inaugural edition of the IFN Nigeria Forum themed, “Harnessing the Islamic Finance Sector for Infrastructure Development and Economic Growth”, on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos. The forum is aimed at promoting the growth and development of the Nigerian Islamic Finance industry and facilitate the growth of a new asset class in the capital market.

Cboe Plans To Introduce New Lead Market Maker Incentive Program For Its Cboe Listed ETP Marketplace

• Lead Market Makers on the Cboe Listed Marketplace planned to be rewarded for meeting certain quoting obligations and market quality metrics for Cboe-listed ETPs
• New program planned to become effective in the third quarter of 2019, subject to regulatory review

Moscow Exchange: RUB Penalty Rate Change From June 17, 2019

Due to decision of CCP NCC starting from June 17, 2019:

• RUB Rollover Rate in FX and Precious Metals Market (SDRUB) will be changed to 15%.
• Upper REPO Penalty Rate (HPenRate) on Equity Market will be changed to 15%.

Updated MOEX FX Fixing Methodology To Take Effect From 17 June

From 17 June 2019, an updated methodology for Moscow Exchange FX fixings will come into force. It has been amended to change the accuracy to which the fixings are determined. In particular, the EUR/USD FX fixing will be calculated to five decimal places, and the CNY/RUB FX fixing to four decimal places.
