HKEx: Survey Indicates Supportive Views On The Primary Stock Market

A survey conducted by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) in December 2001/ January 2002 revealed that despite unfavourable economic conditions, listed companies, investment banks and fund managers showed confidence in the Hong Kong primary stock market. The Hong Kong primary stock market remains attractive for the listing of Mainland companies.
Euronext Amsterdam: Paul Benschop Takes Over Duties Of Director Of Trading

As of January 1 2003 Paul Benschop, director of market supervision and compliance, will take over the duties of Arnold Vastenhouw, director of trading. Mr Vastenhouw is retiring after having supervised securities trading in Amsterdam to ensure a fair and orderly market since 1992. Mr Benschop has worked for the Amsterdam exchange in various capacities related to supervision and compliance since 1999.
