  • OMHEX And SEB To Co-Operate In Securities Processing

    SEB Merchant Banking and OMHEX today announced a co-operation agreement regarding custody and clearing for the Finnish market. Under the agreement, SEB will through its Helsinki branch assume responsibility for the OMHEX custody customers, which are today handled through the Finnish subsidiary HBO. In addition, OMHEX and SEB Merchant Banking have agreed that OMHEX will continue to handle transaction processing for these clients in the Finnish market on behalf of SEB through an outsourcing agreem

    New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that it will be launching new world ethanol futures and options contracts, with the futures contract to begin trading Friday, May 7, and the options to begin Monday, May 10. The ethanol contract, which will trade alongside NYBOT's Sugar No. 11 contract in the sugar pit, underscores the increasing role of this cleaner-burning additive to gasoline and its growing importance to the world sugar trade.

    Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 24 March 2004, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

  • Clearstream And LCH.Clearnet Implement New Settlement Route - Enhancing STP Rates And Improving Market Efficiency

    Clearstream Banking Frankfurt announced today that, together with LCH.Clearnet, it has introduced an automated settlement route for OTC German Government debt transactions. The routing process for settlement instructions generated by LCH.Clearnet on behalf of its members to be forwarded to Clearstream Banking Frankfurt for settlement, will be automated achieving 100 percent straight-through processing rates.
