Deutsche Börse: CTS Eventim To Replace Holsten-Brauerei In SDAX - Holsten Free Float Falls Below 5 Percent - Unscheduled Amendment With Effect From Wednesday

With effect from Wednesday, CTS Eventim AG will be included in the SDAX index as part of an unscheduled amendment to its composition. The stock will replace Holsten- Brauerei AG, whose free float has fallen to below five percent since the takeover by Carlsberg Deutschland. Holsten therefore no longer meets the requirements to be included in the SDAX.

Deutsche Börse To Adjust Rules For Companies Entering DAX Index - Market Capitalization And Trading Volume To Become Sole Criteria - Rules To Come Into Effect From September 2004 - DAX To Become More Appealing To Investors

According to a statement by Deutsche Börse on Monday, the index provider plans to limit the rules governing the selection of companies in the DAX equity index to quantitative criteria. In future, stocks may only be replaced using two criteria: trading volume and market capitalization, thereby removing any discretionary judgment when altering the composition of the DAX. Belgacom enters Euronext 100 index (N100) Today, 22 March the company Belgacom is listed on the Cash market of Euronext Brussels. Based on rule 1.3 of the groundrules for the Euronext 100 index, that states that a newly listed stock could qualify for fast entry if it ranks within the first 50 companies in terms of market capitalisation, Belgacom will enter the Euronext 100 at the next quarterly review (effective 1 April 2004).
