ASX: Close Of SEATS Trading Today

Earlier today, due to broker feedback regarding anticipated high volumes from the News Corporation (NWS) reweighting, ASX announced it would extend the Closing Single Price Auction (CSPA) period by 5 minutes to close at approximately 4:10pm. This normally would have been done by a manual over-ride of the programmed schedule but an error was made and this did not happen. WTB Hannover Clearing House Changes Margin Rates For All Potato-Futures

As of 20th of June 2005, the Clearing House of the WTB Hannover rises the Initial Margin Rates for Table Potatoes from 250 € to 400 €, for Futures on Processing Potatoes from 400 € to 600 € and for Futures on London Potatoes from 300 € to 500 €.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange Lifting Ordering Restrictions On IOC And FOK Orders

TOCOM will lift the ordering restrictions imposed on IOC and FOK orders since February 16, 2005, along with the introduction of new regulation that prohibits the cancellation of these orders. We will resume recieving these orders from June 20, 2005.

The Federation Of Thai Capital Market Organizations (FeTCO) Appoints Mr. Kongkiat Opaswongkarn As Its New Chairman Effective June 16, 2005

The Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations (FeTCO) has appointed Mr. Kongkiat Opaswongkarn, Ph.D., as its new chairman, replacing Mr. Suthep Peetakanont, who finished his term as President of the Association of Securities Companies (ASCO) on May 13, 2005. The FeTCO chairman should normally head of one of FeTCO’s member organizations.
