CBOE To Launch Multiple Payout Basket Credit Event Binary Options On Tuesday, July 31, 2007

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that it plans to launch Basket Credit Event Binary Options (Basket CEBOs) on Tuesday, July 31, pending regulatory approval. Initially, CBOE will list three Basket CEBO contracts. Two of the baskets are based on specific industry sectors (automobile and homebuilder) and the third is a high-yield composite basket. Basket CEBO contracts pay out a cash amount upon the confirmation of a credit event in any of the components in the basket.
