The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced today that it has expelled Franklin Ross, Inc. (FRI) of Princeton, NJ from FINRA membership for repeatedly violating anti-money laundering (AML) rules. FINRA also imposed fines and suspensions against two of the firm's principals - its former president, Mark G. Ross, Jr., and its current president, Kevin K. Herridge. By federal statute, a firm must be a FINRA member in order to conduct a public securities business.
Deutsche Bank To Launch First ETFs On Short iTraxx

Deutsche Bank will launch the first three short iTraxx ETFs this week as part of its db x-trackers Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) platform. The three new ETFs are based on new indices, developed by the International Index Company (IIC) and launched this week. 19.1 Million Electronic Equity Trades On Borsa Italiana And London Stock Exchange In October

During October 2007, there were 19.1 million electronic order book trades with a combined value of £299.6 billion (€429.7 billion) on the cash markets of Borsa Italiana and the London Stock Exchange – more than on any other European exchange. The average daily number of order book trades increased 46 per cent to 832,156 while the average daily value traded rose 34 per cent to £13.0 billion (€18.7 billion).
