Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, November 29, 2007: Conporec Inc. (TSXVN:CNP) will consolidate its shares on a 1-for-10 basis and will trade under the new ticker symbol "CNX" and the new CUSIP number 208282 40 0. The name of the company has not been changed.

Minneapolis Grain Exchange Sets Another All-Time Daily Electronic Volume Record

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange) announced it has set a new daily electronic trading volume record with 5,260 contracts traded during the Nov. 28 trading session. This is the second all-time daily electronic volume record set this month, breaking the previous record or 4,879 contracts set Nov. 5, 2007 by 381 contracts.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) announced today that it has sanctioned Rafferty Capital Markets, LLC, of Garden City, NY for facilitating improper market timing practices and for failing to have an adequate supervisory system to prevent deceptive market timing and late trading, among other violations.

Peter Bresnan, Deputy Director Of Enforcement, To Leave Securities And Exchange Commission

The Securities and Exchange Commission announced today that Peter H. Bresnan, Deputy Director of Enforcement, will leave the Commission on December 5. He will become a partner in the law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, in the firm's Washington office.

LME Announces Additional Grades For Steel Billet Contracts
