MGEX Continues Its Record Growth

Another monthly volume record was set at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange). November trading volume exceeded the previous November record volume set in 2004 by 7 percent (179,486 vs. 165,833 contracts). It also ranked as the fifth highest monthly volume in the history of the Exchange and was 25-percent higher than last November’s volume.

KCBT Finishes November With New Contract Highs - Wheat Futures Contract And Exchange Post Volume Gains

Trading volume at the Kansas City Board of Trade during the month of November posted gains over both last month and last November. Volume in the hard red winter wheat contract increased 4.6 percent when compared to November 2006 and increased 18 percent when compared to last month.

ISE Reports Monthly Volume For November 2007 - Options Exchange Trades Record Average Daily Volume Of 4.3 Million Contracts

The International Securities Exchange (NYSE:ISE) today reported that in November 2007, its options exchange traded a record average daily volume of 4.3 million contracts. The ISE Stock Exchange traded an average daily volume of 52.2 million shares in the same period.
