Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) Changes For S&P Asian Indices

As announced on December 17th, 2007, the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) annual structural review will be implemented after the close of business on Friday August 29th, 2008. CESR Launches A Consultation On Risk Management Principles For UCITS

The consulation paper published today proposes a framework for guidelines concerning risk management, providing principles and an outline of the key elements for a standard in the risk management process. The principles will be complemented by a paper on the aforesaid technical and quantitative issues related to risk management, which is expected to be published for consultation by the end of 2008.
