Securities Regulators To Examine Industry Controls Against Manipulation Of Securities Prices Through Intentionally Spreading False Information - Prevention Effort Augments SEC's Ongoing Enforcement Investigations

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that the SEC and other securities regulators will immediately conduct examinations aimed at the prevention of the intentional spread of false information intended to manipulate securities prices. The examinations will be conducted by the SEC's Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations, as well as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and New York Stock Exchange Regulation, Inc.

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced The NASDAQ Stock Market has captured for the first time a greater share of trading in NYSE-listed stocks than the New York Stock Exchange. On Friday, July 11, NASDAQ(r)'s matched share volume in NYSE-listed securities was 1.730 billion compared to the NYSE's 1.727 billion. NASDAQ's matched market share in NYSE-listed securities was 25.66%, compared with the NYSE's 25.61%.

11 structured certificates issued by Raiffeisen Centrobank were introduced to the WSE on 9 July. As a result, the number of all structured products listed in Warsaw grew to 38. The total value at par of the new certificates is around PLN 150 million and their volume is 4.57 million. All certificates are listed in PLN on the parallel market.
