Thai Bourse Helps Japan By Donating Through Its Ambassador

As The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Foundation had approved a donation of JPY 10 million (approx. USD120,000) to help Japan recover from last week’s earthquake and tsunami, today (March 18, 2011) SET and SET Foundation Chairman Sompol Kiatphaibool gave that amount to the Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, who will deliver it to the Japanese Red Cross.

ESMA Launches A Consultation On The Guidelines On The Application Of The Endorsement Regime Under Article 4 (3) Of The Credit Rating Regulation 1060/2009

The Consultation Paper present ESMA's interpretation of Article 4.3 of the Regulation, providing some reasons in support of the interpretation that third country regulation has to contain enforceable rules that are “as stringent as” the one in the EU regulation.
