SEC Issues Exemptive Relief From Treasury Clearing Requirements For Certain Inter-Affiliate And Non-U.S. Repo Transactions - Continues Efforts To Support Ongoing Implementation Of Treasury Clearing Rules

The Securities and Exchange Commission took another step forward today to assist broker-dealers and other market participants on the path to central clearing of U.S. Treasury securities by issuing exemptive relief related to inter-affiliate repo transactions and non-U.S. repo transactions.

MIAX Exchange Group - Options Markets - November 1, 2026 Fee Changes

Effective November 1, 2026, the MIAX Options, MIAX Pearl Options, MIAX Emerald Options, and MIAX Sapphire Options Exchanges will amend volume calculations to exclude Extended Trading Hours (“ETH”) volume, pending filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A total turnover of 7.619 billion shares worth ₦637.826 billion in 192,138 deals was traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange, in contrast to a total of 2.024 billion shares valued at ₦110.773 billion that exchanged hands last week in 173,113 deals.

Ontario Securities Commission Invites Applications For Securities Advisory Committee

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) is inviting applications from qualified individuals to join its Securities Advisory Committee (SAC). SAC is a committee of industry experts that advises the OSC and its staff on securities regulatory policy, legal and regulatory initiatives, and emerging capital markets trends. The OSC is seeking four new members to serve a three-year term beginning in January 2027.
