Good morning and welcome.

Let me start by thanking the members of the Equity Market Structure Advisory Committee (the “Committee”), especially those of you serving on the Market Quality and Customer Issues Subcommittees, for all of your efforts. It is obvious that the recommendations being presented today are the result of considerable thought and analysis.

Saudi Arabia's Capital Market Authority: Announcement Regarding The Publication Of The Draft Real Estate Investment Traded Funds Instructions

As part of the  Capital Market Authority's (“CMA”) approved Strategic Plan for the period (2015-2019) and as a continuation to CMA’s efforts to develop the capital market as well as to introduce new investment instruments, and in line with the National Transformation Program and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, and based on the Capital Market Law issued by the Royal Decree Number (M/30) Dated 2/6/1424 H, the CMA Board has issued its Resolution which includes publishing the draft Real Estate Investment Traded Funds Instructions on CMA’s website (indicated below) to enable concerned and interested parties to provide their comments and observations.

Statement Regarding Progress On The Review Of The U.S. Treasury Market Structure Since The July 2015 Joint Staff Report

U.S. Department of  the Treasury, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Joint Member Agencies) today issued this statement to highlight significant actions taken since the issuance last July of their Joint Staff Report on the U.S. Treasury market, including the recently signed memorandum of understanding to share information on U.S. Treasury cash and related derivative markets among the agencies and their plans to host a second conference on October 24 to continue progress on these efforts.
