NZX Q3 2016 Revenues & Operating Metrics

NZX reported third quarter revenue growth of 3.9% in its Q3 2016 revenues and operating metrics released today. The most significant contributors to this growth were higher funds management revenues, and listing fees for new debt listings, which continues an exceptionally strong year for New Zealand’s listed debt market.

The Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange (DGCX) today announced Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) DIFC Branch has become the first market maker for the Shanghai Gold Futures contract listed on it exchange. ABC is China's third largest lender by assets and is one of the first participants in the precious metal business in China and is known to hold leading positions all the time.

EBA: Consultation On Guidelines On Internal Governance (Revised) (EBA-CP-2016-16)

The European Banking Authority (EBA) launched today a public consultation on its revised Guidelines on internal governance. These draft Guidelines aim at further harmonising institutions’ internal governance arrangements, processes and mechanisms across the EU, in line with the new requirements in this area introduced in the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD) and also taking into account the proportionality principle. The consultation runs until 28 January 2017.
