    To further improve the compliance in the market, strengthen the communication and exchanges between Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and the member units’ risk supervision business and ensure the effective market regulation and stable operation of the futures market, DCE organized the representatives of the members to hold the “Forum on Risk Control and Compliance Regulation” in Dalian on May 4, and attending the forum were the representatives of 14 member units including Yong’an Futures and COFCO Futures.

  • The Middle East Investor Relations Association Signs MOU With The Amman Stock Exchange

    The Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Amman Stock Exchange on April, 26 during the Arab Federation of Exchange Conference, which took place in Beirut, Lebanon. Alex MacDonald-Vitale, MEIRA Chairman, and Nader Azar, Amman Stock Exchange CEO, signed the agreement to pave the way for future collaboration.

  • Workshop On Options Business For CRO Of Futures Companies Held In Dalian

    The China Futures Association and Dalian Commodity Exchange co-held the “Workshop on Options Business for CRO of Futures Companies” in Dalian on May 5. Attending the workshop were the chief risk officers and chiefs of compliance department at more than 140 futures companies. The workshop is designed to futher improve the risk management and business communication of the CRO and heads of compliance department, leaving them in a better position to work effectively and helping them act as the guardians for the safe and smooth operation of the options market and the entire derivatives market.

    The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) today issued the results of a recently completed focused compliance review of exempt market dealers (EMDs) in Alberta whose principal regulator is the ASC (the Sweep). The purpose of the Sweep was to determine if registrants are compliant with Alberta securities laws.

    It is always a pleasure to participate in the annual Section 19(d) conference.  Since last year’s conference, NASAA and the SEC have deepened our mutual cooperation on matters affecting our markets and investors.  The Memorandum of Understanding and Information Sharing Agreement between the SEC and NASAA, which was signed in February is one example of the coordination we have accomplished since last year.  This forum provides yet another opportunity for us to share ideas and to think broadly about how best to support our mutual goals of protecting investors and the integrity of our markets.
