A citizen and resident of Switzerland pleaded guilty today to conspiring to defraud the United States in connection with her work as the head of a team of bankers for Credit Suisse AG, announced Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General Stuart M. Goldberg of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today barred a New York-based attorney from appearing or practicing before it and acting as an officer or director of a public company after finding that he made false and misleading statements in corporate filings.

Inter-Product-Spreads For Central-/Eastern-European Power Derivatives Now Available At EEX

Today, EEX has launched Inter-Product-Spreads with guaranteed execution related to Central-/Eastern-European Power Futures. The new spread products enable trading participants to trade price differences between the different market areas more efficiently as separated prod-ucts are merged to a standardized Inter-Product-Spread product. The Inter-Product-Spreads are available in the trading system as products with own order book as well as links to the re-spective single leg order books. The new products aim at increasing liquidity and tightening spreads in the respective order books.
