A total turnover of 2.211 billion shares worth N30.636 billion in 26,287 deals were traded this week by investors on the floor of the Exchange in contrast to a total of 3.628 billion shares valued at N34.886 billion that exchanged hands last week in 19,834 deals.

The European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) submitted today their Technical Advice to the European Commission to set minimum requirements, which manufacturers of packaged retail and insurance-based investment products with environmental or social objectives (EOS PRIIPs) should comply with to ensure that they offer products that meet the retail investors' needs.

MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), reports Thursday’s open interest of 112,026 contracts is a new daily record.  This surpasses the previous record of 110,629 contracts set on July 21st.
