• In April 2018, the average daily number of trades was 5% higher than the pcp. The average daily value traded onmarket of $3.9 billion was down 8% on the pcp. 
• Volatility (as measured by the average daily movement in the All Ordinaries Index) was 0.3% in April down on the previous month (0.6%). 
• Expected future volatility (as measured by the S&P/ASX 200 VIX) in April was an average of 13.3 (compared to 14.0 in March).

The 6^th Meeting on Furthering the Integration of High-tech Industry and Financial Capital in (Western) China was co-hosted by the Central Committee of China National Democratic Construction Association, the Ministry of Science and Technology (“MOST”), People's Government of Sichuan Province, and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) on April 27 and 28, with the theme of “Sharing the New Era, and Promoting Development”. It was the sixth time that SZSE participated in the meeting as a co-host on furthering technology-Finance integration.

Dalian Commodity Exchange: Iron Ore Futures Trade To Widen - Introduction Of Overseas Dealers To Help Develop Widely Accepted Benchmark

China will introduce overseas traders to the domestic iron ore futures market at the Dalian Commodity Exchange from May 4, which is expected to help develop a widely accepted price benchmark, said a top official from the DCE.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Strengthens The Management Of Focus Monitoring Accounts And Accurately Combats Abnormal Trading Behavior

Recently, SZSE issued the Notice on Strengthening the Management of Focus Monitoring Accounts (hereinafter referred to as the Notice) to its members. In the new situation, this is another important measure for SZSE to implement the requirements of comprehensive and stringent law-based supervision, promote the establishment of the “member-regulation-oriented” transaction behavior regulation model, and strengthen the front line supervision of transactions.
