The Eastern Magistrates’ Court today convicted ETRADE Securities (Hong Kong) Limited (ETrade HK) for actively marketing to the Hong Kong public US brokerage services provided by E*TRADE Securities LLC (ETrade US) which was not a licensee of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

Leading emerging market regulators met this week in Colombo, Sri Lanka, at the annual meeting and conference of the IOSCO Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM) Committee, chaired by the Chairman of Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), Tan Sri Ranjit Ajit Singh, who is also Vice Chair of the IOSCO Board. The GEM Committee annual meeting and conference were preceded by the meeting of the IOSCO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee, which were hosted by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.

Paris based Powernext SA, the Austrian Central European Gas Hub AG (CEGH) and Power Exchange Central Europe (PXE) have today finalised their plans for the launch of the PEGAS CEGH Czech Gas Market. All spot products and futures contracts currently available on the PXE gas market will be opened on PEGAS on the 8th December 2017.
