ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm covering trends in the global ETFs ecosystem, reported today that assets invested in the Global ETFs industry reached a new record high of US$12.89 trillion at the end of May.   The global ETFs industry gathered US$126.32 billion in net inflows in May, bringing year to date net inflows to a record US$594.19 billion, according to ETFGI's May 2024 global ETFs industry landscape insights report, the monthly report which is part of an annual paid-for research subscription service. The Financials sector contributed 77,54% to the total value traded which was the highest among all other sectors. Investors primarily focused their interest on the shares of “Bank of Cyprus Holdings Plc” and also on shares of “Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd” with 42,53% and 29,09% of the total value respectively.
