The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has supplemented the auction calendar for the year 2020 with the auctions for EU aviation allowances (EUAA). The respective dates were fixed in coordination with the European Commission and the participating Member States as well as with the responsible German and Polish authorities.

Thank you all for attending today’s open meeting of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).  We will begin by considering a proposed amendment to Commission regulation 160.30, which requires covered entities to adopt policies and procedures for administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect customer records and information.  This amendment will formalize the detailed requirements for those policies and procedures consistent with the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act.

Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer: Farmer Sentiment On Trade And The Overall Ag Economy Improves As Fall Harvest Gets Underway

The Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer improved 15 points to a reading of 136 in October. The upswing is attributable to 15-point increases in both of the barometer's sub-indices. The Index of Current Conditions rose to a reading of 155 and the Index of Future Expectations rose to a reading of 146. The barometer is based on a mid-month survey of 400 U.S. crop and livestock producers.

Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority’s First MoU In Riyadh Signed With The Dubai Financial Services Authority

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) enhanced their relationship today when Mr Saeb Eigner, Chairman of the DFSA, met His Excellency Ahmed Al-Kholifey, Governor of SAMA, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen mutual cooperation in their supervision of banking and insurance.The MoU will facilitate the exchange of information and oversight of institutions supervised by the respective authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
