Good afternoon and thank you for joining me today (6 aUGUST, 2019).
1. I shared in January this year some of SGX RegCo’s initiatives for FY2019. And now that 6 months have passed, I thought it would be timely to talk about what is next on our plate for the current six months to end of 2019. I intend to do this regularly from now on, to give everyone a preview of what is to come every half year.

Nadex Temporarily Refrains From Listing EUR/JPY 5-Minute Contracts On Trade Date August 6, 2019

On trade date August 6, 2019, North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. (“Nadex”, the “Exchange”) temporarily refrained from listing its Intraday EUR/JPY 5-Minute Currency Binary contracts beginning with the 3:50am ET expiration time. The EUR/JPY 5-Minute Currency Binary contracts were relisted beginning with the 5:00am ET expiration. This action was taken pursuant to Nadex Rule 12.39(f)(iv)(5).

CFTC Financial Data For Futures Commission Merchants Update

Futures commission merchants (FCMs) and retail foreign exchange dealers (RFEDs) must file monthly financial reports with the CFTC's Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight (DSIO) within 17 business days after the end of the month. Selected financial information from these reports is published below. The most recent month-end information generally is added within 12 business days after FCMs and RFEDs file their reports, but occasionally may be added later. For example: The 17th business day filing “due date" for February 28, 2015 financial reports was March 25, 2015. The 12 business day target for posting these data was April 10, 2015.

FIA July 2019 SEF Tracker

Trading volume on SEFs reached a record level of $816.2 billion in average notional value per day during July 2019, down 18.8% from the previous month but up 42.8% from a year ago. This was the seventh highest level of daily trading since FIA began tracking SEF trading in 2014.
