  • Salesforce.Com, Amgen And Honeywell International Set To Join Dow Jones Industrial Average

    S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following changes to the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) effective prior to the opening of trading on Monday, August 31:

    Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM) will replace Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE:XOM), Amgen Inc. (NASD:AMGN) will replace Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), and Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE:HON) will replace Raytheon Technologies Corp. (NYSE:RTX).


  • ISDA Letter To FSB GUUG – Global UTI Implementation

    Individual jurisdictions are currently amending or drafting transaction reporting rules.  This ISDA letter to the Financial Stability Board’s (FSB) Working Group on UTI and UPI Governance (GUUG) requests more active, improved coordination of global UTI implementation timelines and alignment to the CPMI-IOSCO Harmonisation Group recommendations, even while the final International Governance Body is being established.

  • FIA And FIA PTG Comment In Support Of The CFTC’s Electronic Trading Proposal

    FIA and FIA PTG (collectively, “FIA”) today submitted comments supporting the CFTC’s Electronic Trading Risk Principles rule proposal. The CFTC proposal reflects a carefully reasoned principles-based approach that builds on the industry’s efforts over the years to mitigate the risks of electronic trading. As such, FIA strongly encourages the agency to prioritize the proposal in its rulemaking agenda.

  • SIFMA Fixed Income Market Close Recommendation In The U.S., The U.K. And Japan For U.S. Labor Day Holiday

    SIFMA has confirmed its previous holiday recommendation for a full market close on Monday, September 7 for the trading of U.S. dollar-denominated fixed income securities in the U.S., the U.K., and Japan in observance of the U.S. Labor Day holiday.

  • CFTC Adds More Than 20 Unregistered Foreign Entities To RED List - New RED List Interactive Webpage Launched

    As part of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s ongoing efforts to help protect Americans from fraud, today the CFTC added 22 unregistered foreign entities to its Registration Deficient List (RED List). The CFTC also launched a redesigned RED List webpage that provides more information about the listed entities and why the CFTC recommends individuals not engage in financial transactions with them. Launched in 2015 [See CFTC Press Release No. 7224-15], the CFTC’s RED List now contains 168 entities.
