Knowledge Is The Best Investor Protection And Pays Off: Financial Education Offering Of The Vienna Stock Exchange Is Expanded

Just in time for the start of school, Vienna Stock Exchange announces an expansion of the already extensive financial education offering. This includes, among other things, an initiative on the topic of Green Financial Literacy with newly designed and digital teaching materials, which are available for use with immediate effect. In addition, seven new courses and seminars of the Vienna Stock Exchange Academy with an increased online offering complete the program for the coming year. Furthermore, Wiener Börse supports the "National Financial Education Strategy", initiated by the Federal Ministry of Finance and Finance Minister Gernot Blümel, with expertise and materials. The next steps for this will be presented in September.

Bank For International Settlements To Open Its Doors To Visitors For A Special Exhibition In The Autumn

- BIS will open its headquarters in Basel, Switzerland to the public for an exhibition marking 90 years since its establishment.
- BIS 90 Years exhibition will showcase the Bank's past, present and future role in promoting global monetary and financial stability.
- Open Week runs from 26 October to 4 November and will take place in line with Swiss Covid-19 safety measures.

- In August 2021, the average daily number of trades was up 9% on the pcp. The average daily value traded onmarket of $6.4 billion was up 3% on the pcp.
- Volatility (as measured by the average daily movement in the All Ordinaries Index) was 0.4% in August (compared to 0.6% in the pcp).
- Expected future volatility (as measured by the S&P/ASX 200 VIX) in August was an average of 11.4 (compared to 19.0 in the pcp)
