SIX Exchange Regulation AG Reaches An Agreement With Sika Ltd

SIX Exchange Regulation AG (SER) has reached an agreement with Sika Ltd with regard to breaches of the provisions on regular reporting obligations. In the period from July 2018 to March 2019, Sika Ltd failed to comply with its regular reporting obligations on several occasions. As part of the agreement, the company has recognised the violations of the provisions on regular reporting obligations asserted by SER and has undertaken to implement and adhere to organisational measures.

Singapore Supports International Efforts To Strengthen IMF Resources Amidst The COVID-19 Pandemic

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced today that Singapore will renew its loan commitments to support multilateral efforts to strengthen the capacity of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). These loan renewals will help boost the IMF’s resources to enable it to effectively play its role in safeguarding global economic and financial stability in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

New York State Department Of Financial Services Superintendent Lacewell Announces Grant Of DFS Trust Charter To Enable GMO To Engage In New York’s Growing Virtual Currency Marketplace

Superintendent of Financial Services Linda A. Lacewell announced today that the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) has granted a charter under New York Banking Law to GMO-Z.com Trust Company Inc., to operate as a limited liability trust company. With DFS approval, GMO is authorized to issue, administer, and redeem Japanese Yen and U.S. Dollar-pegged stablecoins in New York. The Japanese Yen stablecoin will be the first of its kind available to the public.

In order to allow more time to process and fund loans that were submitted to the Main Street lender portal on or before December 14, 2020, the Federal Reserve Board on Tuesday extended the termination date of the Main Street Lending Program facilities to January 8, 2021.

The Board of Directors of TASE approved (December 24, 2020), a resolution that authorizes the CEO of TASE to determine a minimal size of an order for a security that differs from that calculated according to TASE rules. This step is intended to avoid situations where a minimal order size, while consistent with the rules, impedes proper trading.
