Although bank transfers in the Single Euro Payments Area, or SEPA, take the same amount of time regardless of the country where the account is issued, some companies don't want to go through the extra trouble and refuse to serve customers from other countries entirely. So Lithuanian fintech company Bankera, together with several other fintech companies operating in the EU, has joined an international initiative to fight the IBAN discrimination.

Dominica Signs Deal With Switzerland To Advance Paris Climate Agreement Goals

The Commonwealth of Dominica has approved a bilateral agreement with Switzerland, enabling Dominica to sell its carbon credits to help Switzerland meet its Paris Agreement emissions pledge. The deal was inked by Minister for the Environment, Rural Modernization and Kalinago Upliftment, Hon. Cozier Frederick, at the United Nations Climate Conference (COP 26), in Glasgow, Scotland.

Vienna Stock Exchange: 15 New Asian Blue Chips Added To The "Global Market" Segment

Today, the Vienna Stock Exchange expands its offering on the global market: Four Chinese and eleven Japanese blue chips are newly included to continuous trading in the international market segment. Austrian retail investors can now choose from shares of large Chinese banks (Bank of China and China Construction Bank), the Japanese technology group Fujitsu, as well as Bridgestone, Honda or Mitsubishi from the automotive and vehicle manufacturing sector. Trading is possible between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., supported by Lang & Schwarz as market maker, in line with the motto "all you can order".

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE), in cooperation with Qatar Central Securities Depository Company, announces their intention to take the necessary measures to implement the capital increase of Masraf Al Rayan resulting from the merger process through the merger between Masraf Al Rayan and Al Khaleej Commercial Bank (Al Khaleeji). The execution will take place after the end of the trading session for tomorrow, Tuesday, November 30, 2021. The capital of Masraf Al Rayan after the increase will be 9.3 billion Qatari riyals distributed over 9.3 billion ordinary shares. The shares of Masraf Al Rayan will be tradable with the new capital as of Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
