Thank you, Beth [Zorc], for that introduction and thank you to the Institute of International Bankers for this opportunity to provide closing remarks to your 2023 Annual Washington Conference. For the last two days, you have been addressed by top U.S. financial regulators, including the chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the acting Comptroller of the Currency, and the chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, on issues ranging from banking regulation, the economy, and financial crimes to cybersecurity, digital assets, and taxes. It is a privilege to close out your conference with thoughts on the capital markets. My remarks reflect solely my individual views as a Commissioner and do not necessarily reflect the views of the full U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or my fellow Commissioners.

Vienna Stock Exchange - ATX Prime: New Free Float Factors For Semperit And S Immo, ATX Composition Unchanged

The Vienna Stock Exchange reviewed the Austrian indices today and announces the change of free float factors. The composition of the national index ATX remains unchanged. The free float factor of Semperit AG Holding decreases from 0.5 to 0.4 following an accumulation by the investor de Krassny GmbH. For S IMMO AG, the free float factor decreases from 0.3 to 0.2 after disclosure of the stakes held by Immofinanz AG and CPI PROPERTY GROUP S.A., respectively. The free float factor expresses how many shares of a company circulate among the public and influences how strongly a share is weighted in the index. The changes will become effective on 20 March 2023. The next scheduled review of the composition of Austrian indices will follow on 5 September 2023, the free float factors will be reviewed again on 6 June 2023.

Germany’s financial supervisor BaFin suspects the operator of the website tfimarkets24.com of offering consumers financial and investment services without the required authorisation. The operator does not have authorisation under the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz – KWG) or the German Investment Firm Act (Wertpapierinstitutsgesetz – WpIG) to offer these services. Moreover, the offeror contacts investors and leads them to believe that they could buy shares in Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche Aktiengesellschaft (“Porsche AG”) via this company. This is not the case. TFI Markets Ltd (27 Pindarou, 1060 Nicosia, Cyprus) is not responsible for the website stated above or for the aforementioned offer to buy shares. This is a case of identity theft.
