Vienna Stock Exchange: New Free Float Factor For BAWAG And Inclusion In ATX Five

The Vienna Stock Exchange today reviewed its Austrian indices and announces a new free float factor for BAWAG Group AG. After US investor GoldenTree further reduced its stake, the factor rises from 0.9 to 1. In the ATX five, which combines the five largest listed companies measured by free float, BAWAG Group AG replaces Wienerberger AG. The index will thus include the following members: Erste Group Bank AG, Verbund AG, OMV AG, voestalpine AG and BAWAG Group AG. These changes will become effective on 21 March 2022. The composition of the Austrian Traded Index (ATX) remains unchanged. The next review of the free float factors is scheduled for 7 June 2022. The index composition will be reviewed again on 6 September 2022.

Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), on Wednesday, 2 March 2022, hosted a Digital Closing Gong Ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of female Chairpersons of NGX listed companies and their affiliates who were appointed in 2021. The event was hosted in line with The Exchange ongoing collaboration with International Finance Corporation (IFC) which aimed to reduce the gender gaps in leadership, employment, and entrepreneurship under the Nigeria2Equal programme.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida entered consent orders on March 1 for permanent injunction, monetary sanctions, and equitable relief against Marvin W. Courson III (Courson) and Christopher A. Kertatos (Kertatos). Both Courson and Kertatos reside in Florida.

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today a Report which analyses the recent developments and challenges of introducing sustainability in the EU securitisation market. The EU sustainable market is still at an early stage of development and the application of sustainability requirements in securitisation appears to require further clarification. The Report examines how sustainability could be introduced in the specific context of securitisation to foster transparency and credibility in the EU sustainable securitisation market and to support its sound development.
