    Global Money Week or “GMW” is an international awareness campaign which originally started in 2012 to promote financial education and financial inclusion for children and young people by an NPO named Children And Youth Finance International. In 2020, the OECD International Network on Financial Education (hereinafter referred to as the OECD/INFE) took over the role of the GMW secretariat and, as for “Global Money Week 2023” which will take place from March 20 through 26, the OECD/INFE and participating regulators/policy makers of OECD/INFE member countries will take leading roles in hosting events for the promotion of the financial education of children and youth around the world by calling for support from relevant organizations in each country and region to participate in financial education activities.

  • The Bond Market-Making Business Of Shenzhen Stock Exchange Runs Stably And Orderly In The First Month

    On 6 February 2023, SZSE officially launched the bond market-making business. Since the first month of the launch, the SZSE bond market has been running stably, and the quote activity has increased significantly. The first batch of 12 bond market makers actively provided continuous market-making and quote services in an orderly manner and offered rational price guidance to the market, initially achieving the positive effect of improving pricing efficiency, enhancing market liquidity and strengthening market stability, and steadily advancing the development of the secondary bond market.

    Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) is set to apply the Dynamic Price Banding Mechanism (DPBM) to Gold Options (TGO) and Single Stock Options (STO) in the first and second half of 2023, respectively. Up to then, DPBM will be applicable to all products. Additionally, TAIFEX plans to expand the Kill Switch mechanism to client transactions, and implement the Cancel on Disconnect for proprietary traders. These measures aim to further enhance market efficiency and stability. Along with the development of digitalization as well as to keep account opening procedure safe and easy, TAIFEX has allowed FCMs to use Mobile Identification (Mobile ID) verification in the account opening process by amending related rules, effective from Feb 18, 2023.
