Waleed Saeed Al Awadhi, Chief Executive Officer of the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA), has beenreappointed as Chair of the Africa and Middle East Regional Committee (AMERC) of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) for the 2026–2028 term. AMERC, which H.E. Al Awadhi currently chairs, brings together 41 regulatory authorities (29 voting members and 12 associate non-voting members) across Africa and the Middle East and serves as a vital platform for regional collaboration.

Non-Jordanian Ownership In Companies Listed On The Amman Stock Exchange Reached 46.4%, Of Which 33.2% For Institutional Investors

Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) revealed that the value of shares bought by non-Jordanian investors at the ASE in March 2026 was JD27.5 million, representing 10.6% of the overall trading value, while the value of shares sold by them amounted to JD32.0 million.
