  • HEX And Tallinn Stock Exchange Enter Into Strategic Co-operation

    HEX Group (HEX) of Finland and Tallinn Stock Exchange (TSE) of Estonia are entering into strategic co-operation, which will include ownership as well as operational aspects. The aim of the co-operation is to build a well-functioning securities market in Estonia and to significantly increase the visibility of Estonian companies and liquidity in the trading of their shares.

  • Euronext - Trading Mid And Small Caps

    In November 2000, Euronext Amsterdam published a consultation document entitled Trading Mid & Small Caps, which looked at the way shares in medium-sized and small companies would be traded following the introduction of the Euronext trading system. Market participants were asked to respond to the document. All the responses have now been received and taken into consideration, resulting in a final document entitled Euronext - trading shares in small and medium-sized companies.

  • CBOE QQQ Options Volume Exceeds Expectations

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today reported volume in QQQ options was 71,572 contracts (43,747 calls and 27,825 puts), making it the second most actively traded index option at CBOE. The QQQ represents options on the Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking StockSM and was listed for trading on the CBOE today.
