Instinet Group Incorporated (Nasdaq: INET) today announced net income for the 12 months ended December 31, 2001 of $144.8 million, or $0.63 per share, compared to $148.2 million, or $0.72 per share, in 2000. For the fourth quarter of 2001, net income was $45.7 million, or $0.18 per share, compared to $36.0 million, or $0.17 per share, in the fourth quarter of 2000.
