Turnover for May was EUR 59,477.3 million. This compares to EUR 62,355.3 million in April. Domestic turnover in May was EUR 52,385.5 million, foreign turnover EUR 5,604.8 million, Nuovo Mercato, Domestic, EUR 1,398.7 million, Nuovo Mercato, Foreign EUR 59.3 million and on the Mercarto Expandi market EUR 29.0 million.
UK’s Financial Services Authority Bans Former Equitable Chief Executive

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has concluded that Christopher Headdon, the former Appointed Actuary and then Chief Executive of Equitable Life, is not fit and proper to hold a significant management role at a regulated firm and has banned him from performing such a role until May 2010.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged Symbol Technologies, Inc. with securities fraud and related violations of the reporting, record-keeping and internal control provisions of the federal securities laws. The SEC also charged eleven former Symbol executives in connection with their roles in the fraud.
