Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMLN) of San Diego, California, will become a compo nent of the NASDAQ-100 Index® (NASDAQ: NDX), prior to market open on Monday, January 9, 2006. Amylin Pharmaceuticals will replace MCI, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCIP). Amylin Pharmaceuticals will also be included in the NASDAQ-100 Index Tracking StockSM (NASDAQ: QQQQ).
Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Sets Volume Record For Month Of December

Total volume of trade in futures and options contracts on Winnipeg Commodity Exchange for December 2005 reached 273,277 contracts, setting a volume record for the month of December. This level of trade is 65.8% higher than a month ago and 30.1% higher than a year ago.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, January 5, 2006: Bison Resources Ltd. (TSXVN:BIS.A) will be removed from the index. The company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange following a plan of arrangement with Mission Oil & Gas Inc. (TSX:MSO). St. Jude Resources Ltd. Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes effective after the close of business on Friday, January 6, 2006: The unitholders of Acclaim Energy Trust (TSX:AE.UN) and StarPoint Energy Trust (TSX:SPN.UN) have approved the plan of arrangement whereby the producing assets of the two trusts will be combined into Canetic Resources Trust (TSX:CNE.UN).
