Real Time From The Copenhagen Stock Exchange Via SMS

The Copenhagen Stock Exchange now supplies real-time prices on all listed shares via SMS. The price per SMS is still DKK 4 plus ordinary SMS charges. The Exchange introduced its SMS service just six weeks ago and promised at that time to develop new and better services on an ongoing basis.

NASD Fines Ameritrade, Datek And iClearing $10 Million For Improperly Extending Credit And Allowing Trades That Avoided NASD Day Trading Margin Rules

NASD announced today that it has fined Ameritrade, Inc., Datek Online Financial Services, LLC (Datek), and iClearing, LLC $10 million for improperly extending credit to customers in violation of federal securities laws. As a result of a merger effective September 2002, Datek and iClearing became affiliates of Ameritrade, Inc. of Omaha, NE.

LIFFE Announces Transaction Fees For Eurodollar

The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), wholly owned by Euronext N.V, today announced details of the pricing structure for trading and clearing Eurodollar futures and options, available globally from 18 March 2004. The pricing of LIFFE Eurodollars has been designed to offer all customers highly competitive fees within a simple structure. At the same time, details of extended opening hours have also been announced following customer consultation.
