Price dissemination is an important part of NCDEX’s strategy for expansion. In its march towards the future, it has crossed national boundaries and moved on to the international arena. NCDEX price ticker boards, displaying the Exchange’s live traded prices, have been installed in Abidjan in Cote-d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) on 10 June, 2005. Cote-d'Ivoire is one of the major exporters of raw cashew to India.

NASD Charges Gunnallen Broker With Threatening Public Company - Broker Attempted To Extort Inside Information With Threat To Drive Down Stock Price

NASD announced today that it has charged Shawn Aaron, a stockbroker with Gunnallen Financial, Inc., in Tampa, FL, with attempting to extort and intimidate Optelecom-NKF, Inc. ("OPTC"), a Nasdaq SmallCap company. NASD charged that Aaron threatened to drive down the price of the company's stock from about $13 to $6 per share unless it provided him with confidential business information.

Turnover The total turnover (excluding block trading) on all market segments of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) in May 2005 amounted to SIT 8.0 billion. The turnover in May was therefore 51.9% lower than last year’s average. In comparison to May 2004, the total turnover decreased in size by SIT 9.0 billion (-52.8%).
